WIRE EDM PRODUCTS
SmartCAM Wire EDM™ provides
wirepath for both 2 and 4-axis wire EDM machines. It offers the
flexibility and functionality you need to get the job done quickly and
accurately.
SmartCAM Communicate is a
Microsoft® Windows™–based utility for transferring NC code between
your computer and a CNC controller, tape punch, or tape reader.
Communicate uses the serial RS-232C standard for communicating with
your machine. The hardware and software settings you make using
Communicate affect whether the information SmartCAM sends to your
machine will be received accurately.
Edit Plus™ is a Microsoft®
Windows™–based ASCII text editor. With Edit Plus you can edit
NC code files, macros, batch files, Windows .ini
files, and any other ASCII text information.
The
following are some of the features of Edit Plus:

Supports
multiple file editing. This allows you to open and edit up to ten
files at a time.

Limits
document file size only by available disk space.

Provides
support for the Windows drag and drop feature. This enables you to
drag file icons from the Windows File Manager and drop them into
Edit Plus for editing.
