All SmartCAM V17.0 applications have been released for full distribution. Notification of the release to customers with active software maintenance agreements (SMA) have been sent.

Version 17.0 delivers a variety of new enhancements and capabilities to the SmartCAM suite of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) system software, including new Z-level Roughing processes and improved solid pocket milling processes (for Advanced Milling™, Advanced Turning™ and FreeForm Machining™), an extension of the Named View capabilities that allows a variety of view parameters to be saved for easy switch between views for easier model interrogation as well as for generating customizable job and shop floor reports, and a new web-based report generator that improves the flexibility and quality of job and process documentation.
